At the beginning of 2009, Bob and Sharon Wagar (previously Missions Pastors at City Bible Church, Portland) stepped into the Senior Pastor role at RUN Bible Church, now renamed Life Church. The leadership at this church in Uganda wanted to see their church rise to a new level of influence and fruitfulness, and believe the spiritual gift-mix and leadership strengths of this couple will be a tremendous blessing to them.
 
There is already a fresh faith in the people and a willingness to get involved and be part of the work God has set before them. Average Sunday morning attendance is growing steadily and is pushing 400. There are visitors and salvations each week. Currently there are 25 Life Groups that meet each Wednesday evening. The children's and youth ministries are growing and beginning outreaches to their schools.
 
Life Church is located on the main highway from the airport at Entebbe to Kampala city center...tens of thousands of cars and people pass by every day. Pastor Bob writes, "We are determined to be as visible as possible and let them know that Jesus has come to give them abundant LIFE!"

In August, Trinity sent a team of 10 to Life Church where they spent a busy week putting on a carnival, visiting home groups and a woman's prison, doing an outreach at an orphanage and teaching Sunday School.
